Seven die of malaria

ADILABAD: Seven persons, including six children, reportedly died of malaria in villages of Narnoor, Sirpur (U) and Jainoor mandals during the last 24 hours.

District Medicial and Health Officer S. Vignanachary confirmed the deaths.

In Narnoor mandal’s Gondguda, 18-month-old Vijay Shanti, in Chittaguda eight-year-old Atram Katod, in Kandwa four-year-old Jadhav Ankulibai, in Kothapalli (H) eight-year-old Durge Kiran and another four-year-old in Boddaguda died.

Similarly, six-year-old Rathod Srikant of Mamidipalli in Sirpur (U) and 35-year-old Subhash of Jainoor mandal’s Pawarguda village too died of fever.
