Russian citizens can vote in Chennai on December 2

CHENNAI: Vladislav V.Antonyuk, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Southern India, has sent the following announcement for publication:
“In concordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, State Duma elections will be held in Russia on Sunday, December 2, 2007. In this regard the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Chennai provides facilities to effectuate the constitutional voting right to the citizens of the Russian Federation who stay in South India.
“The voting will be held in Chennai on Sunday, December 2, 2007 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the premises of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture (74, Kasturi Ranga Road, Alwarpet, Chennai- 600 018).
“The details related to elections can be confirmed on phone numbers 044-2498 2330 and 044-2498 2320.”
