Erode: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board will conduct the monthly grievance meeting on November 20 Tuesday.

A release from the Superintending Engineer’s office says at the meeting to be held at 10.30 a.m. at the office of the Executive Engineer, operation and maintenance, Erode south, at 17, Gandhiji Road, Erode, the public may represent their grievances, if any, in person.

Welfare assistance at district level financial assistance for education, child delivery, performing last rites, etc, that were given to members of various workers’ welfare boards at the State-level will henceforth be given at the district-level.

A release in this regard from the office of the labour inspector says henceforth workers registered with various boards can apply at the Erode office of the labour inspector, from where they can also get the disbursement.

The same facility can be availed at labour offices in Kangayam, Dharapuram, Perundurai, Gobichettipalayam and Sathyamangalam, the release further says.
