Killed

Krishnagiri: One person was killed and five others seriously injured in a collision involving two lorries at Rayakottai near here on Thursday. Police said a group of six labourers were going in a lorry from Hosur to Palacode when it reportedly collided head-on with another lorry proceeding from Dharmapuri to Hosur. Munusamy (48) of Devasandiram sustained serious injuries and died on the way to the hospital. The injured were admitted to the Hosur Government Hospital. A case has been registered.
