Kore shooting: HC grants bail
BANGAlORE: The Karnataka High Court on Thursday granted bail to two associates of Jagadish
Chidanand Kore, accused of shooting his uncle and Belgaum MLC, Prabhakar Kore.
A resident of Ankali village in Chikodi taluk of Belgaum district, Jagadish had on October 19, 2006, fired at Prabhakar Kore. Two others, Rajendra and Srinivas, were arrested along with Jagadish. According to the police, the two had supplied the revolver to Jagadish, with which he had shot Kore. Rajendra and Srinivas pleaded for their release. Justice Subash B. Adi allowed their petition and granted bail to Rajendra and Srinivas. — Staff Reporter
