VISAKHAPATNAM: A day after surrendered naxalites and family members of those killed by naxalites held a demonstration here criticising the violence and seeking protection, the banned CPI (Maoist) killed a Girijan near the border with Orissa in Dumbriguda mandal on Thursday.
Body dumped on hill
According to information received by the Superintendent’s Office here Pangi Nageswara Rao (45) was killed by a group of naxalites and his body was dumped on a hill under Gabasa panchayati limits, which is about 20 km from Dumbriguda.
The CPI (Maoist) had also left a letter near the body of Nageswara Rao but its contents were not known yet. The body is being brought to Dumbriguda.
