ENHANCING ONLINE EXPERIENCE: Jaspreet Bindra, Country Manager, Online Service Business, Microsoft India, launching the next generation of Windows Live Service for India in New Delhi on Thursday. NEW DELHI: Microsoft on Thursday launched the advanced version of Windows Live for consumers in India. The upgraded version contains a fresh set of tools and services that make it easier to communicate with those having web access and across multiple devices. “Internet-savvy consumers are relying more and more on the Web to communicate and share with their friends and family, but they are also becoming increasingly frustrated with how difficult it is to keep track of all their e-mail accounts, photos, blogs, address books and other online information. “The new digital technology will simplify lives significantly,” Microsoft India Country Manager (Online Services Business) Jaspreet Bindra said at a press conference here . The new tool comes with built-in security features and it can be downloaded at get.live.com. Windows Live is designed to enhance the online and ‘Windows-on-the-PC’ experiences with a set of online tools that bring the power of the Web right to the PC or mobile device, letting consumers communicate. The Windows Live set of services is composed of several free PC applications connected to services delivered over the Internet. “This new generation of Windows Live is an all-in-one package that complements Windows Vista and desktop applications and connects their offline and online worlds a truly exciting way,” the company’s Product Head (Windows Live Services) Samir Saraiya said.
