THENI: Elaborate arrangements have been made to conduct written examination for the direct recruitment to the posts included in Combined Subordinate Service Examination-1-2007, organised by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on November 17 in the district, according to a press release from the Collectorate. The examination will be held in 20 halls in Theni, Periakulam and Uthamapalayam centres. Special buses would be operated to examination halls from 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the same day for the convenience of candidates. Duplicate hall tickets would be issued to those who had not received the hall tickets from the TNPSC at Room No.24, First Floor, C-Section, Collectorate, based on production of particulars obtained from the web site www.tnpsc.gov.in. Candidates seeking duplicate hall tickets should submit an application and also write their name and address in a white paper affixing a passport size photograph. “When they appear for the examinations, the candidates must produce a duplicate hall ticket and also a passport size photograph duly signed by a gazetted officer.” Candidates, who are willing to apply to the Periakulam and Uthamapalayam centres, may contact the tahisldars concerned. Duplicate hall tickets can also be had from the chief invigilators concerned at the examination hall before 9 a.m. on the examination day in person, the release said.
