Arrest warrants issued against Mohanty father and son

JAIPUR: A court here on Thursday issued standing arrest warrants against the absconding rape convict Bitti Mohanty and his father, the suspended Orissa Police officer B.B. Mohanty. The court, while hearing the case of parole jumping by the son, also initiated proceedings for attachment of the property of the senior Mohanty in Orissa and elsewhere. The orders from Additional District and Judicial Magistrate II, Jaipur, Rajendra Bansal, came at the end of a hearing of the report submitted by R.N. Satpathy, Inspector of Cantonment police station, Cuttack on the execution of warrants against the Mohantys issued earlier by the court.
