Indigo flies to Bhubaneshwar

BANGALORE: Indigo airlines will begin service in the Bangalore-Hyderabad-Bhubaneshwar sector from November 17, according to a press release. The airline has taken delivery of 14 new Airbus A320 aircraft from the Airbus Industrie in Toulouse, France on November 13.

Daily flights

It will have daily flights connecting the three cities. The release quoting the CEO of the airlines, Bruce Ashby, stated that Indigo had carried 3 million passengers on approximately 24,000 flights so far in India. The company wants to strengthen connectivity to the cities that the airline is already serving.

Increase in sectors

With the new fleet at its disposal, the airline is now in a position to operate 102 flights everyday to 16 destinations in the country, including Agartala, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Vadodara.
