Free veterinary camp held

TIRUCHI: The 54th All India Cooperative week celebrations commenced here with the Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies R. K. Moorthy hoisting the cooperative flag and planting saplings at the Chinthamani Cooperative Stores campus on Wednesday.

The Department and the Tiruchi District Milk Producers Union jointly conducted a free veterinary camp at the Pullampadi cooperative milk producers’ society premises on Thursday. Lalgudi MLA, A. Soundarapandian inaugurated the camp. The president of the Pullampadi Town Panchayat, S. Chandrasekaran, vice-president, C. Jacob Arulraj, Special Officer of the Tiruchi District Cooperative Union, S. Mathivanan, spoke on the occasion.
