HYDERABAD: Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday challenged Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy to reveal “where and when” had he passed the comment that agriculture was a waste.
Addressing a press conference, Mr. Naidu charged the Chief Minister with carrying on a false propaganda by dressing himself up like one of them . He could not even convince the Centre to enhance MSP for paddy and other crops.
Not just on farm front, even on the question of irrigation facilities, the Chief Minister was misleading farmers by falsely claiming to have created fresh ayacut of 11 lakh acres, he alleged.
