Seminar on gas turbines inaugurated

VISAKHAPATNAM: A two-day seminar on “gas turbine and diesel management” was inaugurated at INS Eksila by Chief of Staff of the Eastern Naval Command Anurag G.Thapliyal, on Thursday.

He highlighted the need to keep abreast of the advancements in maintenance and repair technology besides upgrading existing machinery, control systems and instrumentation and inducting newer technologies.

The seminar was aimed at formulating policies for effective management of gas turbine and diesel engines that power front line ships of the Navy.
