Merchant in good nick

CHENNAI: India’s Yasin Merchant won all his five matches in the group league phase in the men’s section of the World snooker championship in Korat, Thailand.

Alok Kumar dropped one match in four outings, while Manan Chandra has won three matches in five outings.

The lone Indian woman in the fray, Vidya Pillai of Tamil Nadu, won the lone match she has played so far in Group ‘D.’
