KOLLAM: Haily John and Neethumol Baby (both from Kerala) hogged the limelight on the opening day of the 11th ICSE/ ISC all-India athletic meet at the Lal Bahadur Stadium here on Thursday.
Haily won the shot put and javelin events in junior girls’ section, while Neethumol won a double by winning the 800m and high jump event in senior section.
At the end of the first day’s competitions, Kerala was leading the table with 47.5 points followed by Bihar (24) and Uttar Pradesh (23).
