Tablets distributed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The district health administration has achieved a drug distribution coverage of 59.84 percent in the Mass Drug Administration drive against filariasis held here on Thursday.

DEC and albendazole tablets were distributed to 19,27,098 persons in the district against a target population of 32,20,677 persons.

Mop-up rounds will be held on November 16 and 17. Drugs were also distributed through 30 mobile booths. The MDA drive was inaugurated by Minister for Law M. Vijayakumar.
