Shah Rukh Khan sends reply

PANAJI: The National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE)-India is in receipt of a response from the legal adviser of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan whereby the smoking act of the cine star has not been denied; but an attempt has been made to take shelter behind legalities and find loopholes to legalise his act, said Shekhar Salkar, general secretary of NOTE-India here on Thursday.

Dr. Salkar said the legal adviser of Mr. Khan has, inter alia, stated in his reply that ICC is a private club which does not have a no-smoking zone and that the Hindustan Times function was a private function.
