Two babies go missing in the Capital

Police launch hunt for the suspect kidnappers


NEW DELHI: A six-week-old baby boy went missing from a park near Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital on Thursday.

The incident took place around 10-15 a.m. when Kiran (27), along with her baby and a three-year-old son went to the Out Patients Ward of the hospital to see a doctor. She left the children with her sister Reena saying she would return soon.

According to the police, a pregnant young woman approached Reena and asked her to accompany her to a nearby park till Kiran returned. Inside the park, Reena asked the woman to keep an eye on the children when she went to check on her sister.

On returning, she found the woman missing along with her infant nephew. The police have registered a case and launched a hunt for the suspect.

In another incident reported on Wednesday, an 18-month-old boy went missing from Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. According to the police, Farida had left her son Saba with a woman outside the building. When she returned, both the baby and the woman were missing.

The police are trying to trace the child.
