NEW DELHI: The All-India Congress Committee general secretary in charge of Delhi affairs, Ashok Gehlot, chaired a meeting on Thursday to review the arrangements for the one-day AICC meeting to be held at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium here on Saturday.

The meeting was also attended by Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J. P. Agarwal and Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. Mr. Agarwal said preparations for the meet were in full swing and no efforts would be spared to make it a success.

The DPCC president said various committees had been formed to look after various aspects of organising the AICC meeting.

Mr. Gehlot also spoke to the chairpersons of these committees in detail and took stock of the preparations that are under way.

The meeting was informed that the DPCC office-bearers and party MPs, MLAs and Councillors have been working hard and in tandem to ensure that all arrangements are in place.
