Reliance Jewels makes debut

Plans to open 300 outlets in 3 years
Offers over 10,000 designs of jewellery

NEW DELHI: Hotting up the challenge in the branded jewellery sector, Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Retail Limited (RRL) has announced its foray into gems and jewellery trade with the aim of opening 300 ‘Reliance Jewels’ outlets across the country during the next three years.

The company launched its first such Reliance Jewels speciality store in Jayanagar, Bangalore. The store is spread over three floors, the 6,000 sq. ft. store offers over 10,000 designs of exquisitely crafted jewellery from across the country to make it a one-stop shopping destination for fine jewellery, offering consumers a wide range in gold and diamond jewellery.

Commenting on the launch of Reliance Jewels, President and Chief Executive, Reliance Retail, Bijou Kurien, said it had always been the endeavour of Reliance to provide the consumers with a wide range of high quality products at competitive price. “Reliance Jewellery is another milestone in our effort in bringing unique shopping experience with assured purity of gold and certification of diamond. We plan to open 50 such stores during the next one year and another 300 speciality stores across the country during the next three years,” Mr. Kurien said.

The gold jewellery range encompasses Kolkata Filigree, Rajkot minakari jewellery, Kundan from Jaipur, Temple jewellery from Kerala, Jadau from Amritsar and much more.

In Diamond jewellery, Reliance Jewels offers the finest quality of diamonds and the widest range of designs, ranging from daily wear to party wear, from diamonds for weddings as well as to celebrate every special occasion in a woman’s life.
