Mullaperiyar: BJP offers support

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State president P.K. Krishnadas said here on Friday that the government and Members of Parliament should press the Centre for construction of a new dam at Mullaperiyar and a new agreement on supply of water to Tamil Nadu. Extending support to the government on the issue, he said the issue concerned the safety of the people living downstream of the dam. — Special Correspondent
