MAVELIKARA: An assistant to the tantri of Chettikulangara Temple near Mavelikara was found dead on the road near the Karipuzha Junction here on Friday morning. The police said Govindan Namboodiri, 46, was found lying in a pool of blood while his two-wheeler was seen near the body in a slightly damaged condition. The police suspect that it could be a hit-and-run case. — Staff Reporter
