Plea to sanction DA instalments

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Joint Council has asked the Government to sanction the additional instalments of DA immediately after the Centre announced them as the other States, including Tamil Nadu, did. Joint Council general secretary C.R. Joseprakash, in a statement here, asked the Government to take concerted steps to remove the anomalies in the pay revision. He welcomed the Government’s decision to sanction the 6 per cent DA due from January 2007 also and to make the payment from the salary for February. — Special Correspondent
