SHIMLA: A high-level team of the Election Commission is arriving here on Saturday to review arrangements for the second phase of elections in Himachal Pradesh on December 19. According to official sources, the three-member team will be led by Election Commissioner Naveen Chawla and will include Deputy Election Commissioner R. Balakrishnan and Secretary K. F. Wilfed. The team will review the security arrangements and poll preparedness in the southern zone of the State comprising Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts. It will meet officials from other districts the next day. The Commission has also appointed 40 observers .
