Collector appeals for ‘excellent’ performance

Staff Reporter

Sangareddy: Medak Collector B. Venkatesam, reviewing the progress of several development programmes on Friday, directed officers to categorise government offices, hostels and schools into three zones on the basis of their performance.

He said efforts should be to bring all the red and white zones into green zone. The red and white indicated bad and the good while green indicated excellent.

The Collector announced that he would personally categorise the three zones at the district and divisional level during the district-wide surprise checks and others officials would do the classification at mandal level.

Officials warned

The Collector warned department heads that he would not hesitate to take stringent action against erring staff during the surprise checks he would undertake three days every week.

He directed the District Medical Officer to organise monthly health check camps in every welfare hostel.
