BANGALORE: If science is your forte, here is a festival that you cannot miss — whether you are a student, teacher or parent. Lectures, competitions, quizzes and exhibitions at the Science Festival organised by the Vagdevi Education Institution are likely to draw some 6,000 people and 175 schools from the city. The speakers will include H.R. Nagendra, former NASA scientist and Vice-Chancellor of Swami Vivekananda Yoga Schematic University, and G. Madhavan Nair, Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
One of the main attractions of the festival promises to be the science exhibition where the work by students and top scientific institutions (including ISRO, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, The Energy and Resources Institute and the State Pollution Control Board) will be on display.
The festival will be held on November 22 and November 23 at the Vagdevi Vilas Education Institution. Those interested in participating can call Ph: 9880006854 or 28495850. The last date for registration is November 22.
