Contests to mark World Aids Day

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A variety of programmes involving students will mark the observance of World Aids Day on December 1 in the city.

The Kerala State Aids Control Society has finalised a poster designing competition in association with Cotton Hill Higher Secondary School. The contest will be open to school and college students from Classes VI to XII in the Thiruvananthapuram revenue district.

The contest will be held in three categories. A team will comprise two students from an institution. Students are directed to report for the event with a certificate issued by the headmaster or principal. The Cotton Hill School at Vazhuthacaud will be the venue.

Students are directed to contact the Public Relations Officer, Terumo Penpol, Sasthamangalam, or at the telephone number 3015602 or 98474 22400.

The last date for receiving application is November 25.
