NEW DELHI: An alleged contract killer working for the Udai Gujjar-Sube Singh inter-State gang has been arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi police in Ashram Chowk here.
Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested Keshav Bhadana on Wednesday when he reached the place to meet a friend. One 9 mm carbine, a .32 bore revolver, two pistols and 15 live cartridges have allegedly been recovered by the police at his instance.
During interrogation, Keshav purportedly confessed to having murdered Yusuf, a member of rival gang, at the behest of Udai Bhadana alias Udai Gujjar. He said Udai paid him Rs. 1 lakh for the murder. The information provided by Keshav was passed on to the Gurgaon police and Udai Singh was also arrested.
