NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old man allegedly involved in several murder cases has been arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi police. A team under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Ravi Shanker received a tip-off that Dinesh Dalal, who was involved in murder cases, would come to Mukarba Chowk on Thursday. Subsequently the team laid a trap and arrested him. During interrogation, Dinesh allegedly disclosed that earlier he was into wrestling. In November last year he allegedly beat up some persons and was arrested in that case. In February this year, he along with his accomplices beat up Balwan and Kida at Najafgarh over a monetary dispute. He was again arrested in that case. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Alok Kumar, Dinesh and his accomplices killed Kala and his accomplice Vijay at Zafarpur Kalan here on August 26. AccomplicesThen in September, he and his accomplices allegedly shot dead Sattey Pehalwan and injured Jasbir and some others in neighbouring Bahadurgarh. Dinesh gradually became a contract killer and murdered another person, Raj Singh, at Badli village at the behest of Mainpal, the police said.
