Bidar
BIDAR: Excise officials conducted raids at a sugarcane field and seized ganja plants worth Rs. 2 lakh at Anadoor village of Bidar taluk on Saturday. The owner of the field is said to be absconding. In another raid, around 2,000 sachets of spurious liquor was seized at Humnabad taluk. One person has been arrested in this connection. Excise officials have registered cases. — Staff Correspondent
