All-party calls for stir for MSP

Kakinada: The all-party committee on minimum support price for paddy, has called for a general strike in the district on Nov. 21 to press for the demand.

Leaders of the TDP are leading the agitation which is meant to garner support for farmers’ conclave to be held in Vijayawada.

Meanwhile, the BJP leaders are gearing up for the visit of their party’s national president Rajnath Singh to the district on Nov 20.

Mr. Rajnath Singh is slated to address public meetings at Rajahmundry and Ravulapalem.

The Left parties are also intensifying their agitation to press for minimum support price for paddy.
