UGC-NET exams postponed

New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has postponed the UGC-NET exams for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for lectureship due to announcement of Assembly elections in Gujarat.

The exams, scheduled to be held on December 16, has now been postponed by two weeks and will now take place on December 30, the UGC said in a release here on Friday.

The Assembly elections in Gujarat are scheduled to take place on December 11 and 16.
