Ara (Bihar): Ravi Mahto, wanted by the police in several cases, was shot dead at Lohrappa village in Bhojpur district of Bihar, police said on Saturday. Ravi Mahto, who had eight cases of murder, kidnapping and loot pending against him, was shot dead late Friday night, deputy superintendent of police Z A Rehman said. Mahto, who had raped a girl of the village about a month and half ago, was sighted roaming at Lohrappa. Some angry villagers overpowered and shot him dead.
