Sonepat (Haryana): Five persons have been arrested here for betting during the cricket match between India and Pakistan held in Gwalior on Thursday, police said on Saturday. Six cell phones, a television set, a diary and fake currency notes with the face value of Rs 500 were recovered from the accused, police said. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid at a house and arrested the accused -- Yoginder, Surinder, Vijay, Anil Kumar and Rajender, a police spokesman said. Cases have been registered under Gambling Act against them, he added.
