Good response to army recruitment rally

ADILABAD: Colonel K.B. Jairaj, Director Recruitment, Army Recruiting Office, Secunderabad summed up the response of youths at ongoing 10 district army recruitment rally here as overwhelming. He said more number of aspirants than expected had turned out for selections to posts of soldiers under different categories. At a press conference here on Saturday, the Colonel said 1,800 candidates attended the selections on November 15 from five districts. After passing through the physical proficiency test about 200 qualified for facing medical board, he said. He also thanked Adilabad district administration for the arrangements made and security provided for the conduct of the rally. Collector Ahmad Nadeem said that accommodation was provided for aspirants at eight places in town. Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar was also present.
