I am confident that people of Bangladesh will face this tragedy with courage and fortitude.”
In a message to Chief Adviser of Bangladesh government Fakhruddin Ahmed, the Prime Minister expressed his deepest sympathies to the members of the bereaved families. “India stands ready to assist in whatever way to help in the relief process,” Dr. Singh said.
