Sonepat: Rail traffic on the Delhi-Ambala -Kalka section of Northern Railway was disrupted for several hours on Sunday following derailment of eight wagons of a goods train near here, NR officials said. They said the goods train jumped the tracks at a point between Sonepat and Sandal Kalan railway stations late on Saturday night after which passenger and express trains from Delhi to Panipat and Ambala were stalled for several hours. Technical and engineering staff reached the site and the section was restored by around 8.30 a.m., they said. The authorities have ordered an inquiry into the derailment.- PTI
