Moga: A chemist has been arrested by the police in the district for allegedly carrying drugs and tablets to sell illegally, police said on Sunday. Senior Superintendent of Police L K Yadal said Ahmed Ali, who ran a shop on the Moga GT Road, was arrested when he was going to the Canal Bridge on the Moga-Zira road with drugs in his bag to sell them. A search of his bag led to the recovery of 71,000 tablets, 4,600 capsules, 485 injections and 185 bottles of cough syrup, he said.
