Traumatic ordeal

Panaji: It has been a tragic and traumatic ordeal for the past two months for the family of Julio Fernandes (39) of Agonda in south Goa’s border taluk of Canacona.
Mr. Fernandes is reported to have died in mysterious circumstances in Saudi Arabia where he had gone to work as a cook. According to sources, his family got intimation on September 19 that Mr. Fernandes had met with an accident and had been hospitalised. However, the family was shocked to get more information later which pointed to his death in mysterious circumstances on September 7. The family sources said that they immediately got in touch with the Indian Embassy and sought possession of his body. But much to the anxiety of the family, nothing has moved in this regard till date.
