Power shutdown

PUDUCHERRY: Power supply will be suspended from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday in a total of 26 areas in the town.

According to a release issued by the Electricity Department, the shutdown was necessitated by maintenance work to be undertaken at the 110/22-11 KV sub-station at Marapalam.

The areas were Sithnanda Nagar, Saradambal Nagar, Thanthai Periyar Nagar, Anna Nagar Extension, Mohan Nagar, Peter Nagar, Pakkamudayanpet, Ananda Rangapillai Nagar, Vinoba Nagar, Gnanaprakasam Nagar, Saram, Kosapalayam, Thirumal Nagar, Tiruvalluvar Salai, Pillaithottam, Sathani Street, Iyyanar Nagar, Natesan Nagar, Anna Nagar, Karamanikuppam, Nellithope, Raja Nagar, Periyar Nagar and parts of Lenin Street, East Coast Road and Orleanpet, the release said.
