ASI’s death: bail for accused

KOTTAYAM: The four accused in the death of an Additional Sub-Inspector (ASI) during violence on the college campus in Changanassery on October 26 have been granted bail. Three of the accused, including the first accused Biju, 24, of Ambiyil House, Thuruthikadavu, Payippad, the second accused Jyothish,19, of Nidheesh Bhavan, Nethallur, Karukachal, and the fourth accused Maneesh Kurup, Sreesadanam House, Bangalamkunnu, Karukachal, were granted bail by Kottayam District and Sessions Judge R. Natarajan on Saturday.

The third accused, Vipin, 17, was granted bail by the Juvenile Court at Thiruvanchoor.
