Pramod Joshua emerges winner

NEW DELHI: Pramod Joshua of Team TVS produced a flawless display on his TVS 125X to emerge winner in the motorcycles category up to 260cc in the Indian Expert Class, in the fourth and penultimate round of the Gulf Dirt Track National championship for two-wheelers at the Government SSS, Sector 10, Kadipur, here on Sunday.

The young Pinkesh Thakker from Pune won both the races in the Private Expert championship in motorcycles up to 260cc class to pick up the ‘best rider’ title.

Overall, Joshua leads the race in the Indian Expert championship with 117 points. R. Raja with 100 is placed second, while Snehal Chavan in third with 84 points.

The finals will be held in Mumbai in December. — Principal Correspondent
