Riding the airwaves out of the box
Take two: Subashini is all set to appear on TV 5 for ‘Snehita’, the show for women.
Four years is a long time on the small screen. Hosting a show and apart from making it a success, sustaining its popularity for such a prolonged time is a challenge indeed. Stepping on the small screen at a time when the industry was ruled by a couple of anchors, Subashini worked her way upwards the hard way. Her composed presentation style, captivating presence, ease in front of the camera and command over subject worke
d wonders when she started hosting ‘Sakhi’ on ETV-2. The show ran for almost four years and the latest news is that Subashini has wound up her association with the show. Viewers will not miss her as she is all set to appear on TV 5 for a show ‘Snehita’. Set to commence from December 1, the show for women is likely to get scheduled at 2.15 p.m.
“Apart from regular presentations we are incorporating counselling on financial matters, education, child care and also on legal matters. This will offer a wholesome package, ” says Subashini.
