Gang kills youth

A youth was done to death at West Anuppanadi here on Saturday night. According to police sources, a gang armed with deadly weapons attacked M. Muthukumar (24) near his residence when he was in a discussion with his friends. While the victim died on the spot, his friends N. Murugan (44) and M. Nandakumar (20) suffered minor injuries. Four persons, including M. Balpanadi of Valaithoppu, were arrested. — Staff Reporter
