Students suspended

Management of RVR & JC College, Guntur, has ordered an inquiry into the alleged ragging incident in which the Guntur-I MLA Nambur Sheik Subhani’s son was beaten up on Saturday.

College principal P.S. Sankara Rao in a release said that prima facie accused in the case, which according to the management was not a case of ragging but that of a personal rivalry, K. Chandrasekhar (II ECE), K. Sriharsha (II EEE), Ch. Venkatesh (II EEE), Md. Areef (I EEE), and Sheik Mujheer (I CSE), were suspended from the college.
