Painting competition held

A painting competition for children was held at Jawahar Bal Bhavan on Sunday morning as a part of the Navy Week Celebrations- 2007.

The event was inaugurated by Rear Admiral HS Malhi, Commander, Defence Machinery Design Establishment (DMDE). Around 1,400 children participated in the competition. Winners of the painting competition will be awarded at the Navy Day reception on Dec 4 at Navy house, Secunderabad.

Navy Week celebrations are held to commemorate the Indian attack on Karachi harbour on December 4, 1971.
