Free medical camp held

GUNTUR: Lions Club of Vijayawada Vision organised a free mega medical camp at the panchayat office in Pedavadlapudi village in Guntur district on Sunday at which about 650 patients got themselves screened by expert doctors.
The club president G. Shyam Prasad said that Cardiologist Purnanand examined 90 patients, performed ECG on 75 of them and distributed necessary medicines. Pediatric doctors R. Venkateswara Rao G. Dhanunjaya Rao and G. Kalyan from Guntur examined 125 patients. Lions District Governor Vidyavathi and former Vijayawada mayor T. Shakuntala were present on the occasion.
Pinnamaneni General Hospital ophthalmologists A. Premchand, Sunil, Satyanarayana examined 225 patients and detected 35 patients with cataract problems.
