Woman sustains 90 per cent burns

NEW DELHI: A 28-year-old woman sustained serious injuries after her clothes caught fire at her Shahdara residence here on Saturday. The victim has been admitted to a nursing home.

The incident took place when Baby, wife of Sanjay, lit a match stick to ignite a stove. Her husband also sustained injuries while trying to rescue her. She was rushed to a nearby nursing home with about 90 per cent burns. The local police have initiated investigations into the incident.
