Press Club election results declared

NEW DELHI: Rahul Jalali was elected president of the Press Club of India here on Sunday, while Pushpendra Kulshrestha was elected secretary general. Jayanta Bhattacharya will be the new treasurer, while Parvez Ahmed and Karuna Madan are the new vice-presidents.

The new 16-member managing committee comprises Ritu Verma, Arun Jetlie, Mohua Chatterjee, Pramod Kumar, Anoop Saxena, Dinesh Tiwari, Ashish Kumar Singh, Narendra Bhalla, Rahul Pandita, Jagdish Yadav, Lucy C. Chattopadhayay, Vijay Krishna, S. M. Afzal Naqvi, Gyanendra Pandey, Nadeem Ahmed Kazmi and Deepak Dwivedi.

The elections were held on Saturday.
