School conducts Troop Raising Day

Coimbatore: Troop Raising day of NCC – Air Wing of Satchidananada Jothi Nikethan Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Kallar, was held recently. Kavidasan, secretary of the school, was the chief guest. The programme included the investiture ceremony to install higher ranks to the second year cadets and a cultural show. Gnanapandithan, the third officer and the teacher in-charge of the school NCC, said that NCC cadets Shryansh Jain and Arjun Ravi were presently undergoing training in Chennai for the Republic Day Parade. V. Ganesan, principal, offered felicitations.

More than 50 cadets from the school will attend the combined annual training camp to be held at PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, from November 20 to 29.
